GATE ECE: Check the Important Topics to Prepare for the Exam

While preparing for the GATE ECE exam, it is crucial to know the syllabus and the concepts that are asked frequently in the exam. Most sections in the GATE Electronics & Communication paper are equally important for the exam.
However, we have listed some important topics to cover for your upcoming GATE exam. Though you have essential concepts, you must prepare the entire syllabus to score good marks.
1. GATE ECE Exam Pattern
The GATE ECE exam is an online exam conducted for 3 hours. There will be 3 sections General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics, and Core Concepts. You will be asked these three types of questions for 100 marks- Multiple Choice Question
- Multiple Select Question
- Numerical Answer Type Question
Negative markings are included in the multiple-choice question. For every incorrect answer, 1/3 and 2/3 marks will be reduced for the 1-mark and 2-mark questions, respectively.
